The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run returns to Minneapolis on November 14, 2026 — America's Sweetest Run. Choose your challenge across 5K, 10K or 15K distances and cross the finish line into a chocolate lover's paradise. The race starts at Boom Island Park in the heart of downtown Minneapolis before running alongside the Mississippi River, with course highlights including Boom Island, Saint Anthony Falls, Merriam Street Bridge and Stone Arch Bridge.

Every finisher receives a commemorative medal, famous hot chocolate, a chocolate fondue finisher's mug, an exclusive SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run full-zip fleece jacket, commemorative race bib, free race photos and access to the post-race party at Boom Island Park packed with music, vendors and chocolate fondue. For an extra treat, the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club VIP upgrade adds rich Ghirardelli hot cocoa, preferred corral placement, a dedicated club area, dedicated restrooms, a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, extra dippables, a large canvas tote with single-serve Ghirardelli cocoa and $35 Hot Chocolate store credit.

The Hot Chocolate Expo is free and open to the public on Friday, November 13, 2026 at Minneapolis Convention Center Ballroom A & B (1301 Second Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55403), 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, for packet pick-up, Hot Chocolate merchandise and vendor booths. There is no race-day packet pick-up. Packet mailing (optional, $20.95) closes on October 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Race day start times: 5K at 8:10 AM; 10K and 15K at 9:10 AM. Gear check opens 60 minutes before start. There is no parking at Boom Island Park; public transit, rideshare and downtown garages are encouraged.
