agra Marktplatz 2028

The agra Marktplatz is the marketplace zone of agra, the agricultural exhibition held at Leipziger Messe in Leipzig. It is dedicated to regional value creation and culinary variety from central Germany.

The Marktplatz runs as part of agra 2028 from 20 to 23 April 2028 at the Leipziger Messe fairgrounds on Messe-Allee 1, Leipzig. (agra is held every two years; the 2026 edition took place 9-12 April 2026.)

Visitors can taste regional specialities from traditional producers to new products, buy high-quality food directly from producers, and follow a stage and action programme that includes live cookshows, tastings and talks. Exhibitors use the Marktplatz as the showcase for the east and central German food industry.

The surrounding agra exhibition covers the latest agricultural machinery and technology, livestock breed shows, several thematic clusters and hundreds of individual events on more than 110,000 square metres of exhibition space.
